The experience runs for approximately two hours and can be scheduled for whichever evening you prefer. On full moon nights, the private bonfire against the moonlit Rann is extraordinary — please let us know your date preference when booking.

All add-ons must be requested at least 48 hours before the experience date.
What full moon nights are most romantic for a honeymoon?
The most romantic full moon dates for honeymooners in the 2026-27 season are: Kartik Purnima (November 5, 2026) — the festival opening, atmospheric and festive; Magh Purnima (February 1, 2027) — the coldest and clearest night of the season, with the best star visibility; and Phalguna Purnima (March 3, 2027) — the warmest, most celebratory, coinciding with Holi preparations. January and February full moons are our most popular honeymoon dates and should be booked three to four months in advance.
What should we pack for a desert honeymoon?
For a winter desert honeymoon: warm layers (temperatures drop to 8–12°C at night in December–January), comfortable walking shoes with closed toes for the salt flats, a light scarf or shawl, high-SPF sunscreen (the white salt reflects UV strongly), and one set of traditional/ethnic clothing for the evening cultural programme and photographs — the Rann provides an extraordinary backdrop for photographs in traditional Indian attire. We recommend light cottons for the day and warm fleece or a shawl for evenings. A good torch and power bank are also useful.
