Cancellation & Refund Policy

Published 2026-27 Dhordo Tent City terms. The refund and amendment terms below apply to the Tent City programme published on this website. Your written confirmation records your dates, accommodation, guest details, taxes and any booking-specific adjustment before payment. Separately arranged hotels, transport and experiences have their own provider terms.
Cancellation refunds
For the published Dhordo Tent City programme
- ✓ 90% refund - 30+ days before arrival
- ✓ 60% refund - 15-29 days before arrival
- ✓ No refund - Under 15 days before arrival
Amendments
Date change: 10% of the booking amount. Name change: 5% of the booking amount. Category downgrade: 5% of the booking amount. Please request any change in writing; availability for the revised date or category is not guaranteed until confirmed.
Before you pay
Review the cancellation deadline, refund calculation, deduction rules, amendment conditions, payment recipient and processing timeline in your written quote. Ask for clarification before making payment if any term is unclear.
How to cancel or amend
Send your request in writing to booking@thetourismexperts.com or on WhatsApp to +91 92747 30220, quoting your booking reference and lead guest name. The cancellation takes effect from the date and time we receive your written request, not from the date of any earlier phone conversation — so please always confirm in writing.
How refunds are paid
The written confirmation identifies the party handling a refund and the applicable process. Any payment-gateway treatment, tax treatment or refund-processing timeline is confirmed in writing for your booking.
Rates, tax and occupancy
For the published Dhordo Tent City programme, applicable GST is extra; children below 6 years stay complimentary; triple occupancy above age 6 is charged as an extra person with mattress; and single occupancy is charged at 75% of the double-occupancy cost. Your written confirmation records the selected category, occupancy and applicable peak-date surcharge.
No-show and early departure
No-show and early-departure treatment is governed by your written confirmation. Ask for clarification before payment if you expect a late arrival or early departure.
Circumstances beyond our control
If a provider changes or cancels a service, the remedy is governed by its confirmed terms and applicable law. We will explain the provider’s stated options and assist you in submitting a request, but do not promise a blanket credit or refund outcome.
