Our most-booked package — the sweet spot between experience and value. Two sunsets, two cultural evenings, star-gazing on the salt flats. From ₹12,600 per person.
WHY 2N/3D IS THE SWEET SPOT
The 2 Night / 3 Day package at ₹12,600 is, by a significant margin, our most popular Rann Utsav package — and for good reason. It is the first package where you genuinely settle into the rhythm of the desert rather than just passing through it.
On the first evening, you arrive, you are awed, and you experience the magic. By the second evening, you understand it. The light is different; you know the paths; you have favourite spots on the Rann. The second cultural performance features different artists, different folk traditions. The star-gazing session on the second night — with a telescope and a knowledgeable guide — is included as standard and is consistently cited by guests as a highlight they had not anticipated.
Two nights also means all lunches are included — the Gujarati thali at Dhordo is excellent and a full day without meal decisions is genuinely relaxing. You leave the 2N/3D package feeling satisfied that you experienced the White Rann fully, not just glimpsed it. Guests who book the 1N/2D package consistently report wishing they had stayed longer; guests on the 2N/3D package arrive at exactly the right duration.

ACCOMMODATION
The headline from ₹12,600 per person for 2 Nights / 3 Days is the Non-AC Swiss Cottage — the entry-level category. Every price below is the total for two nights, per person on twin-sharing unless the card says otherwise, exclusive of GST. All six categories include the same meals, cultural evenings, White Rann visits and Bhuj transfers — what changes is the tent.

For honeymoons, milestones and group luxury stays — a private suite rather than a tent room.
The rates above apply on ordinary season dates. Diwali week, full-moon windows and the general December to January peak add a surcharge per person, and Christmas to New Year (18 December to 2 January) adds more again — for two nights:

FAQ
The 2 Night / 3 Day package at ₹12,600 is our most recommended option because it finds the perfect balance between immersion and convenience. Two nights means two sunsets, two sunrises, two cultural evenings (with different performers), a full day to explore Dhordo village, a star-gazing session, and enough time to genuinely relax in the desert — without requiring more than three days' leave from work. Guests who book 1N/2D consistently wish they had stayed longer; guests on the 2N/3D package arrive satisfied that they got everything.
On Day 2 of the 2N/3D package, we offer an optional half-day excursion to Bhuj city. The city of Bhuj, 80 km from Dhordo, has extraordinary heritage sights including the Aina Mahal (an 18th-century palace with mirrored interiors), the Prag Mahal (a Gothic-influenced palace with a panoramic bell tower), the Kutch Museum (India's oldest regional museum), and the vibrant old city market area with the best traditional Kutchi craft shopping anywhere. The excursion departs at approximately 09:30 and returns by 14:30. Private vehicle cost is ₹1,200 for up to four persons.
Yes — solo travellers are welcome on the 2N/3D package. However, solo occupancy of a tent carries a supplement charge (the base price is calculated on twin sharing). For solo travellers, the per-person cost is approximately 1.6× the twin-sharing rate. Some solo travellers prefer to pair up with another solo guest from our booking list — call us and we can check if this is possible for your dates.
The ₹12,600 base price is two nights in a Non-AC Swiss cottage — a canvas cottage with twin beds, an attached bathroom with hot water and a front porch, cooled by fan and air cooler rather than air conditioning. It is the entry-level category and it suits October–November and February–March, when desert nights are mild. The upgrade most guests choose is the Deluxe AC Swiss cottage at ₹16,600 per person for two nights, which adds air conditioning and a sitting corner; above that sit the Premium tent at ₹18,600, the Super Premium at ₹20,600, the Rajwadi Suite at ₹70,000 per couple and the Darbari Suite at ₹1,40,000 per suite for two nights. Every category includes the same meals, cultural evenings and transfers.
Absolutely — honeymooners and anniversary couples are warmly welcome to book the 2N/3D package. We offer complimentary rose petal decoration and a welcome card for anniversary couples who mention this at the time of booking. For additional romantic add-ons (private bonfire, moonlit walk, couple spa session), see our romantic add-ons menu. For the most comprehensive honeymoon experience, we recommend looking at our dedicated 3N/4D Honeymoon Package which includes all these add-ons as standard.
