Plan Your Visit
Jamnagar is one of the closest major cities to the Rann — a 200 km journey through Saurashtra and Kutch makes the trip easy at any time of season. November to February gives the best combination: pleasant 18–28°C days, cold desert nights, and predictable highway conditions. Most Jamnagar families pick a long weekend in November or the Christmas–New Year stretch. Weekday off-peak rates from Sunday to Wednesday give Jamnagar guests the best value. Avoid mid-March when Bhuj daytime temperatures climb past 32°C; the Rann genuinely peaks in cold weather.
