Plan Your Visit
Surat residents enjoy one of the easiest approaches to the Rann — a single-state journey along the Vadodara–Ahmedabad–Bhuj corridor. November to February gives the best combination: pleasant 18–28°C days, cold desert nights, and predictable highway conditions. The Christmas–New Year stretch is heavily booked by Surat families; consider the slightly quieter Republic Day long weekend in late January for the same weather without the festive surcharge. Avoid the late-March stretch when Surat humidity rises and the Rann simultaneously starts winding down. Surat textile-trade families often pair the trip with a Bhuj craft-bazaar shopping detour — confirm it at booking.
